The 3rd Miss Spring Jamboree Pinup Pageant will take place on Sunday, May 5, 2024 10:00 am and will be comprised of 3 rounds of competition.
***ALL CONTESTANTS ARE REQUIRED TO STAY AFTER FOR PAGEANT PHOTOS – this lasts about 1 hr.***
Judging: We will have a panel of 3 Judges so make sure you are at your best!

Crowning – Top 3
Round One – Presence and Poses: You will be judged on your overall presence including hair, makeup, outfit, and stage presence. You will work the stage with your perfect pinup poses as Lolita tells the audience more about you.
Round Two – Talent: Show how well you can perform your skill. It doesn’t have to be a serious talent like singing or dancing, it can be a silly talent like duck calling or folding laundry. Just make it fun and be confident with it! In my years of entertaining, I know that clever wit and confidence can win over judges even when the competition is an award winning gymnast! So don’t be afraid to enter if you “don’t think you have a talent”. Previous year’s winners won by demonstrating Krav Maga (martial arts), go-go dancing, and displaying flexibility! Others have placed by playing the ukulele while singing, performing a monolog, performing an aerobic skit, giving an oral history on Boulder City, mind reading, and performing a Salvadorian dance.
*All talents must be approved prior to the contest. For safety and decency reasons, some talents (i.e. Burlesque) can’t be done. Believe me, I am just as disappointed about not being able to tassel twirl in front of everybody too!
Round Three – Question and Answers: Your answers can be funny or inspirational, just make sure the answer is clear and well spoken!
That is it for the judging! I know it can seem a little intimidating at first, but this is meant for everyone, including the audience, to have a fun enjoyable time!
~Contestants must be 18 years or older (21 to win any alcohol related prizes).
~Contestants must wear vintage, vintage inspired, or retro 1940s, 1950s, or 1960s clothing including hair, makeup and shoes.
~The theme for the 2025 contest is Fruit! Bust out your best dress, playsuit, casual wear, gown, or swimsuit* that celebrates this theme! *Modest swimwear with cover ups can be worn.
~No lingerie or Burlesque style clothing.
~This event is family welcoming so please no vulgar or disrespectful behavior. You can be cheeky, flirty, and coy, but nothing overt. Example: Stocking peek – YES. Panty flash – NO.
~Contestants must arrive at 9:15am for check in and be dressed and ready to go by 10:00 am on Sunday, May 04th, 2025.
~There is a nearby PUBLIC restroom for prep and touch ups. The area will not be secured so leaving your possessions is at your discretion. The contest will take place on the “main stage” outside in the sun. WEAR SUNSCREEN and bring water!
~Contest will start promptly at 10:00 am.

In addition the winner *may* be offered opportunities by Boulder City to ride in parades for the year and possibly other “ceremonial” events. Please note; since I know not everyone is from Boulder City or the surrounding area, these are optional and not required fulfillments from the winner.
